Boston – Dine Out Boston is set to return this summer, running from August 3 to August 16, 2025. The event will showcase discounted prix fixe menus at over 175 restaurants across 23 neighborhoods in Boston and Cambridge. Formerly known as Restaurant Week Boston, this event is hosted by Meet Boston in collaboration with the Massachusetts Office of Travel & Tourism.

During Dine Out Boston, participating eateries will offer specially curated prix fixe menus for lunch and dinner. The lunch menu will be priced at either $27, $32, or $36, while dinner options will be available at $41, $46, or $55. Many of the restaurants will also provide both takeout and delivery options for those unable to dine in.

This year’s Dine Out Boston will feature a diverse range of cuisines, including Asian, Latin, French, Italian, seafood, tapas, and sushi. Notably, there will be at least a dozen new restaurants participating, adding to the event’s already extensive roster. Among the highlights are a Martha’s Vineyard-based pop-up restaurant located in Back Bay offering a $27 lunch, a casual cafe and bar in Somerville serving a $46 dinner, and a renowned steakhouse in Downtown Boston featuring a $55 dinner.

The event additionally emphasizes community support, featuring a charitable auction to benefit City Strings United and Community Work Services. Participants can bid in an online auction for valuable restaurant gift certificates, making a contribution while indulging in Boston’s culinary offerings.

Martha Sheridan, the President and CEO of Meet Boston, expressed excitement over the city’s ever-evolving food scene, which has garnered significant attention and recognition. In November 2025, the MICHELIN Guide will be publishing a new edition focused on Northeast cities, including several Boston restaurants.

This year, a previously lower price tier of $22 for lunch and $36 for dinner has been removed, reflecting an increased commitment to quality dining experiences. The list of participating restaurants, along with their individual menus, can be easily accessed on the Meet Boston website, allowing diners to plan their culinary outings in advance.

In addition to the diverse culinary options, Dine Out Boston is proud to highlight several Black-owned restaurants, such as Park 54 and Mida, ensuring that guests can explore a variety of cultural flavors and dining styles during the event.

Boston was recently ranked the sixth best food destination in the United States according to TripAdvisor, underscoring the city’s status as a gastronomic hub. This acclaim reflects not only the high-quality offerings of its established dining establishments but also the exciting new entries that continually enhance the local food landscape.

As the summer approaches, food enthusiasts and casual diners alike are encouraged to partake in Dine Out Boston, allowing them to explore the vibrant culinary scene at competitive prices while supporting local restaurants and community initiatives.
