A double shooting in the Dorchester neighborhood of Boston on Saturday night has left one man dead and another in critical condition. The incident occurred around 9:46 p.m. at 38 Franklin Hill Avenue, following a notification from a shot spotter activation.
Police officers arrived at the scene to find two adult male victims suffering from life-threatening gunshot wounds. Emergency medical services transported both individuals to a local hospital for immediate treatment. Tragically, one of the victims was pronounced dead upon arrival at the hospital, while the second remained in critical condition as of Sunday morning.
The Boston Police Department’s homicide detectives are currently investigating the shooting, but as of 8 a.m. Sunday, no arrests have been made in connection with the incident.
