Theatre lovers can look forward to the production of “Two Strangers (Carry a Cake Across New York City)”, which will run from May 20 to June 29 at the American Repertory Theater. On May 21, Boston Ballet School will premiere its “Next Generation” program, showcasing multiple new works. Comedy fans can enjoy Alexa Albanese’s show “Imposter Syndrome” on May 22 at Laugh Boston, while Ward Hayden and the Outliers will perform Springsteen songs on May 22 and 23 at Lizard Lounge.

An intriguing art installation by Chiharu Shiota titled “Home Less Home” will be on display from May 22 to September 1 at the ICA Watershed. Music lovers can also catch Melissa Carper performing new music on May 27 at Club Passim, and the iconic Buddy Cole character, brought back onto stage by Scott Thompson, will entertain audiences on May 28 at City Winery.

On May 29, Shakira will celebrate her vibrant career with a performance at Fenway Park to promote her latest album.
