Visitors have fun playing golf at Golf VX Boston's state-of-the-art simulators.
Golf VX Boston is set to open in North Dartmouth, bringing innovative indoor golfing with state-of-the-art simulators, memberships, and community events. The Soucy family aims to create an engaging experience for golfers of all levels and foster community through various programs. This new facility will serve as a hub for golf enthusiasts and families alike, promoting camaraderie and local talent development.
North Dartmouth, MA is set to become the newest hotspot for golf enthusiasts with the upcoming opening of Golf VX Boston this June 2025. The Soucy family, led by Normand Soucy, his wife Ann-Marie, and their son Garrett, are thrilled to bring this innovative indoor golfing experience to the area.
The journey to opening Golf VX Boston began with a simple conversation between Garrett and his father about local golf simulator quality. Feeling underwhelmed by existing options, Garrett proposed looking into better alternatives, which led Normand down an exciting path of research. They eventually discovered Golf VX, a popular Korean company boasting over 4,000 facilities worldwide—with only one other location in the U.S. based in Chicago. After trying out the Chicago venue for three days, the family knew they had struck gold and decided to invest in the franchise.
So, what can visitors expect from the new facility? Well, Golf VX Boston will feature six state-of-the-art golf simulators that transport players to some of the most famous golf courses around the globe. The technology is designed to mimic real-life course conditions, complete with features like course elevation simulation and automatic teeing, ensuring that every swing feels natural and exhilarating.
The franchise will offer simulator rentals by the hour, making it a perfect place for casual golfers as well as seasoned pros looking to refine their skills. But it doesn’t stop there! Golf VX Boston will host competitions, birthday parties, and even full facility rentals for special events, catering to a wide variety of community needs.
Another exciting aspect of Golf VX Boston is its approach to memberships. To provide members with a comfortable experience while ensuring everyone has a chance to play, the facility will cap monthly memberships at 90. Two membership tiers will be available: one offering unlimited play before 5 p.m., and another providing full-day access along with discounts on food and beverages.
Garrett Soucy, taking the lead as manager, has a unique approach shaped by his background as a veteran. He aims to create a sense of community and camaraderie, which is critical to the overall experience at Golf VX Boston. Plus, in a special initiative, the facility plans to collaborate with the Wounded Warriors Project to create a veterans league, promoting both wellbeing and enjoyment among veterans.
Garrett and his family understand the importance of nurturing local talent, so they’re also planning to partner with local schools to provide off-season practice space for student golf teams. Everyone, from kids to adults, will find something to enjoy at Golf VX Boston, as each simulator can accommodate up to six players and offers engaging kids’ games and family-friendly activities.
Thanks to its central location, Normand Soucy believes that Golf VX Boston is ideally situated to attract golf lovers, especially when local outdoor courses close during the off-season. Drawing on their experience managing a previous franchise yoga studio, HotWorx, the Soucy family is excited to embark on this new venture.
While Golf VX Boston will be the second franchise in the U.S., following Golf VX Arlington Heights, it promises to uphold the franchise’s commitment to providing a top-notch indoor golf entertainment experience, as emphasized by founder Kyu Choi. Relying on advanced technology, including moving swing plates and auto-tee systems, Golf VX aims to deliver an unparalleled golfing adventure for all players.
Beyond just swings and putts, Golf VX Boston is set to harness multiple revenue streams with its innovative model, from rental bays and memberships to food and beverage sales, leagues, and private events. It’s poised to be more than just a golf center—it’s going to be a thriving community hub where people of all ages can come together to enjoy the camaraderie that golf fosters.
Mark your calendars, North Dartmouth! This exciting golfing experience is just around the corner, and you won’t want to miss it!
