The Soucy family is bringing a brand new golfing experience to North Dartmouth, set to be unveiled next June. The eagerly anticipated Golf VX Boston is located at 127 Faunce Corner Road and promises to be a haven for local golf aficionados and casual players alike.
Imagine stepping into a world where golf is played indoors with the most sophisticated technology. Golf VX Boston will feature six cutting-edge golf simulators that allow players to experience incredible virtual courses from around the globe! Whether you’re tackling the lush greens of Pebble Beach or the rugged terrain of St. Andrews, you’ll be in for a treat. The technology even simulates course elevation and includes automatic teeing, bringing the experience of a real golf course right to your fingertips.
The idea for this innovative facility blossomed from a heartfelt conversation between Garrett Soucy, a golf-loving veteran, and his father, Normand Soucy. After feeling frustrated with the local simulator options, Garrett inspired Normand to take a closer look, leading to an exciting opportunity. Normand delved deep into researching Golf VX, a renowned Korean-based company with over 4,000 facilities worldwide. Interestingly, they found only one other franchise in the entire U.S. located in Chicago. After spending three days experiencing the Chicago franchise, Normand made the bold move to secure the franchise rights for Golf VX Boston.
Golf VX Boston will provide several rental options for the simulators, available by the hour, for everything from competitions to birthday parties! Additionally, the facility will offer monthly memberships, but here’s something to note: they are capping memberships at only 90 members to keep the experience accessible for everyone. Membership tiers will include perks like unlimited play before 5 p.m. and all-day access, complete with discounts on food and beverages.
The Soucy family is dedicated to knitting deeper community ties. Garrett is on a mission to establish a veterans league, collaborating with the Wounded Warriors Project to honor those who have served. Beyond serving veterans, Golf VX Boston aims to support local schools by providing off-season practice space for student golf teams, fostering the next generation of golf talent.
In addition to Golf VX Boston, the Soucy family operates another successful franchise, HotWorx, a yoga studio also located on Faunce Corner Road. Their commitment to building great indoor sports facilities has already begun here, but they’re eager to expand with Golf VX Boston.
