Additionally, JetBlue is reinstating year-round service to Daytona Beach and expanding offerings to Caribbean destinations. One-way fares will start at $69, making travel accessible for residents and visitors. JetBlue’s entry into Vero Beach enhances connectivity between the Northeast and Florida, further reinforcing the region’s travel options.

Vero Beach, Florida – JetBlue Airways announced on Thursday its plans to launch new flights to Vero Beach, marking the first time the airline will service this destination. The inaugural flights from Boston’s Logan International Airport and New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport to Vero Beach Regional Airport will begin on December 11 and will operate once a week year-round.

In addition to the new flights to Vero Beach, JetBlue is reinstating year-round service to Daytona Beach from both Boston and New York starting on December 4. This decision follows a noted demand for increased travel options from the Northeast to various destinations in Florida, according to JetBlue’s Vice President of Network Planning.

JetBlue is also expanding its offerings from Boston to several well-known international locations, including St. Thomas, Liberia in Costa Rica, St. Maarten, and Nassau in the Bahamas. Daily flights will be available to each of these destinations. Furthermore, the airline will add a second Saturday flight to Grand Cayman and Bridgetown, Barbados, for the upcoming winter season. This expansion positions JetBlue to offer the largest number of flights from Boston to both the Caribbean and Florida.

Travelers can look forward to one-way fares starting at $69 for flights from Vero Beach to Boston and New York. The newly introduced service will operate all seven days of the week utilizing a fleet of Airbus A220 and A320 aircraft.

Vero Beach Regional Airport, currently serviced only by Breeze Airways, will welcome JetBlue as its second low-cost airline. Breeze Airways transported nearly 176,000 passengers to and from Vero Beach in 2024, highlighting the demand for air travel in and out of the region.

JetBlue has earned recognition in the airline industry, being awarded as the best hybrid airline by AirlineRatings.com earlier this year and securing a position among the top 10 airlines for best economy class by Fodor’s Travel.

The company’s history dates back to its incorporation in August 1998, with its first commercial flights taking place on February 11, 2000. Today, JetBlue holds the distinction of being the sixth-largest airline in the United States, offering services to over 30 countries worldwide.

As JetBlue enters the Vero Beach market, it is projected to enhance travel options for residents and visitors alike, reinforcing the connection between the Northeast and popular Florida destinations.
