Massachusetts – An 18-year-old high school student, Marcelo Gomes da Silva, was released from ICE detention following his arrest while heading to volleyball practice on May 31, 2025. The high school senior from Massachusetts was detained due to a search for his father, who reportedly owns the vehicle in which Gomes da Silva was driving.
