Every weekly highlight will also include a bonus item, showcasing pop-ups, collaborations, or special events at local dining establishments, enhancing the local dining scene.
Offering remarkable dining experiences at accessible prices, Akami Omakase has emerged as Boston’s first omakase restaurant with dining options under $100. Located at 187 Harvard St., Brookline, the restaurant opened in July 2025, presenting a meticulously curated menu featuring 13 courses for $89 and 16 courses for $109 per person. The establishment aims to make high-quality omakase dining more inclusive for a broader audience.
In the South End, Capri, a new Italian steakhouse from the Broadway Restaurant Group, has drawn attention with its enticing menu offerings that include Florentine steak and bolognese. This venue, which opened alongside Akami in July 2025, is located at 500 Harrison Ave.
