Boston is celebrating Pride Month 2025 with a vibrant array of events and celebrations that honors the LGBTQIA2S+ community, featuring a variety of activities for all ages and interests throughout the city. The festivities begin with a range of scheduled events encompassing performances, parades, and community gatherings aimed at fostering inclusivity and pride.

The month-long celebration kicked off on June 2nd with a Pride Kickoff and Flag Raising Ceremony hosted by Mayor Michelle Wu, alongside the Mayor’s Office of LGBTQIA2S+ Advancement, marking the official start of Pride Month. Additionally, comedian Guy Branum entertained audiences at Laugh Boston on June 5th, further enhancing the celebratory mood of the month.

Several local venues are participating in the festivities. Blend has organized events such as the Pop Star Drag Brunch and a Pride Kickoff gathering. Dbar is also hosting a series of events, including Showtune Tuesdays and tea dances. For those looking for a more lively experience, a major Pride celebration featuring Mizery and several drag queens took place at The Broadway, with tickets priced at $20.

On June 11th, Boston Pride Night returned for its seventh edition as the Red Sox faced off against the Texas Rangers, bringing the spirit of Pride into the world of sports. The Boston Pride For The People celebrations continued with a parade, festival, and ribbon-cutting ceremony on June 14th, themed “Here to Stay.”

As part of the celebrations, the Boston Dyke March, a grassroots Pride event, will be held on June 13th and will feature performers as well as keynote addresses from notable speakers. The festivities are set to culminate with the Boston Pride Parade, which draws approximately one million participants. This year’s parade route will extend through 1.7 miles, starting from Copley Square and concluding at Boston Common.

Additionally, the Road of Rainbows Pride 5K run will initiate on June 14th at Boston Common, which includes a “Best Dressed” competition aimed at encouraging creativity and self-expression among participants. Following the parade, post-parade festivities will take place at Boston Common, featuring live performances and booths from community organizations.

Other inclusive events during the month include an Esme LGBTQ+ Womxn’s Block Party on June 14th and the Back Bay Block Party for Pride on June 15th, which offers DJ performances alongside refreshments.
